With your whole family, arrive at Beijing airport/railway station. Meet your private guide and driver, and transfer to hotel. Your guide will assist you in check-in and look after the kids if necessary.  

Enjoy a happy morning at Temple of Heavn, where the local Beijingers do the morning exercise, dancing and practicing Tai Chi. But actually it was where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's bless of the whole nation. Admire this masterpiece of architecture and landscape design. Then head for the center of Beijing and even of China - the Tian'anmen Square, huge in size, where many important evens in Chinese history happened here. Walk through the big, dark red gate to enter Fobidden City - the largest imperial palace in China for 24 emperors' reign during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of over 600 years. Apart from leaning its legendary history, you can have treasure hunt game with your children in the palace.

Temple of Heaven

The Great Wall of China is one of the most important world heritages in human history and was started to be built more than 2000 years ago. Drive to Mutianyu Great Wall. A magnificent site to learn history, Mutianyu is also the place for children to have fun. Take cable car up to the mountain top, seeing the endless walls stretching far into the disance, looking like a huge dragon. You may take toboggan ride down Mutianyu, so exciting, and a great fun for children. Drive back to downtown Beijing, visit 798 Art District en route, to be embraced by Beijing urban culture and world art trends.

Great Wall

Continue your Beijing family trip, visiting another imperial architecture complex - the 800-year-old Summer Palace. It is the largest and best-preserved royal garden in China, with beautiful archtecture built againt the mountain and several ancient arched bridges on Kunming Lake. Here comes the Children's time, meeting giant panda, monkeys and other cute animals at Beijing Zoo. The parents can also take a break.

Explore hutong alleyways to meet local people, witness their way of living at thecourtyard dwelling house, listen to the interesting stories, and take a fun-filled Chinese paper-cutting class at hutong. It is a traditional Chinese art. Parents and kids will learn working on the paper, patiently, and cut birds, dogs, cats, flowers... Don't forget to take it home. (Painting Peking Opera Mask, playing diabolo, learning Chinese calligarphy are also available)
